Ubuntu in Macbook air: No Network devices available

Hi All, I am a newbie to Ubuntu. I just installed Ubuntu on my Macbook Air
and have wiped out the Mac system on it. Now the NetworkManager shows "No
network devices available" while my wireless network broadcast by Airport
Express base station is up and running, which is how I can send this email
from my MacBook currently. Need help pls!
