CD/DVD Cann't use

Looks like you may need the libdvdcss2 package from Medibuntu. Go to

http://www.medibuntu.org

and click on Repository Howto. Follow the instructions for your version 
of Ubuntu and then

apt-get update
apt-get install libdvdcss2

Now try

mplayer dvd://1

again and report your results. The DVD should play at this point. Also, 
be sure to take note of the disclaimer on the Medibuntu site. I guess I 
have to say that you are responsible for knowing whether or not the laws 
in your country allow you to use libdvdcss2 and other Medibuntu packages.
