Where is incoming traffic coming from?

Hi Amadee,

some additional idea that hit me under the shower:

Some services on your server that may cause exorbitant incoming
traffic when working wrongly.

 - mirror
 - http-proxy
 - DNS cache

come to mind now, there may be more.  You know your setup.
