Unpacking the file "linux_install_new.zip" from the Multitech site gives
the file "Linux_Install_new/mts_ti_usb-1.3.1.tar.bz2". Unpacking this
file gives the file "mts_ti_usb-1.3.1/mts_ti_usb_3410-2.6.27.patch". You
can apply the patch if you go to the kernel source directory which would
be /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.27 and then apply the patch with the
command

sudo patch -p1 < /some/path/to/mts_ti_usb-1.3.1/mts_ti_usb_3410-2.6.27.patch
