Your choice.  If you don't like it, complain to the CBC like the rest of us, 
about their use of non-free codecs.  It's not Ubuntu's fault that they can 
not legally distribute them.  Of course, the CBC won't listen to you, 
either...  (Can you tell I've been angered by CBC policy more than once?)
