9.04 can't find second hard drive.

I've heard that one can freeze a HD, and it *might* work again for a
short while.  I've never had to find out whether or not it works, but
it might be a last-ditch option (if it's scrap anyway, you have
nothing much to lose).  Google around for "hard drive freezer" or
"hard drive freezer trick".  If you do attempt this, I would
definitely use the USB enclosure and also be ready to copy files right
away - even if it works, it will not last long...
