Upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid to Jaunty

Yesterday, I upgraded my laptop from Hardy to Jaunty.  It was the 
smoothest update I've ever done under Linux, and two steps at that.  
Everything that was working is working still.  I'm very impressed.  The 
only change I needed to make after both sets of upgrades was to run 
alsamixer to get my sound back.  

This is great!

I should also note that the upgrade fixed a few annoying bugs that I 
hadn't been able to work out in the past.
