Me either but I prefer msmtp and link it to a fake sendmail, mail, or
mailx.

I think I read somewhere that a knowledgeable linux user wrote, I
switched to msmtp because ssmtp was not updated or maintained.

In any case, I took his advise at the time and have been happy with
msmtp.
