I think there's a GUI there somewhere under System maybe? Or install
'sysvconfig' and run 'sudo sysvconfig' in a Terminal and you'll get a
nice curses interface that will let you review all your services and
disable/enable them.
Don't go disabling services you don't know what are for... :-)
