Unfortunately that printer is a GDI printer:
<http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Phones-Fax/Fax-Printers/Multifunction-Printers/model.KX-MB781.S_11002_7000000000000005702#tabsection>
[Emulation  	 GDI ]
and so you will have a difficult time getting it working in linux. You
can try the generic GDI driver:
http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Generic-GDI_Printer

Here is a sample of the difficulty getting a GDI printer to work in linux:
http://rpragana.tripod.com/GDI-printer.html
 http://rpragana.tripod.com/GDI-printer2.html
(there are six, so to read the rest change /GDI-printer2.html to
GDI-printer3.html etc).

Your best best may be to leave that printer connected to a Windows
machine and network print, or install a Windows virtual machine using
VirtualBox (http://virtualbox.org) and printing through that.

I'd also recommend that you write to Panasonic and ask them to provide
linux drivers for the printer. They won't do it of course, but it never
hurts to let manufacturers know that their products do not work with
other OS's. Note: they don't support Mac's either. From their FAQ for
this printer:

<quote>
15. Can I get the software for my Apple/Macintosh computer?

The software only supports a Microsoft Windows Operating System.
...
23. Is there a MAC-OS software driver for my fax machine?

There are no software drivers available for MAC Operating Systems.
