The thread got me looking, and that seems to be the case (if I have 
understood properly, it's actually that the on-board video's use of main RAM 
prevents the proper remapping of high memory, but I could be wrong), but 
there must be _some_ way around this.  I'll be damned if I'll let some 
teenage Best-Buy sales-weenie, who told me I wouldn't be able to use all 4GB 
of this machine's memory, be right!
