Connecting to an iscsi san from Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop

Good Afternoon All

I have installed the open-iscsi app and try to run the following
command:

iscsiadm --mode discovery --type sendtargets --portal 1.1.1.1

But get the following response:

iscsiadm: cannot make connection to 10.52.16.11:3260 (113)

iscsiadm: connection to discovery address 10.52.16.11 failed

Is it possible to connection to an iscsi san in Ubuntu and if so am I
missing something?
