Cdrecord is a whole lot older than 5 years old. I first saw it and
it worked fine on CD-Rom's in early Slakware around 1995. That is 14
years ago. But I expect it has been updated and improved until version
2 which was avaialable in 2004.
I did make a CD-Rom with cdrecord and it was perfect. It still
works. I have several coasters I made with Brasero.
