Amarok 1.4 with 9.04

Greetings,

Curious - I know you can remove Amarok 2.x and by using ppa.launchpad
you can install Amarok 1.4 but I'm wondering...

Has anyone taken the debs from the Debian package site 
(http://packages.debian.org/lenny/amarok) for Lenny and installed them
into 9.04?

If so - did it work? I have taken apps such as BitchX from Etch and 
installed it w/out any issues(albeit that was a much smaller app to
install).
