Dear All,
I manage to install Ubuntu Linux, Ver 9.04 Desktop Edition. I am a new user
switching from Windows to Linux. The new OS is very amazing to me.
But I have a problem, I am using *Prolink 56K V.92 Modem* (model no:
1456PVC/R). I scanned the modem chipset with *scanModem tool, please find
the attachment*. Could somebody to help me to get a *right modem driver file
*?

For owners of a Dell PCs with Conexant HSF modems, a driver source package with full speed enabled is available, but requires driver compiling. Read DOCs/Conexant.txt
