You can manually edit your configuration. But beforehand you need to find out the correct settings for following entries:

1. Your provider's Access Point Name (APN). Usually your provider insert this information within your SIM card or modem package box. Or you can ask your provider's hotline help if you can't find them.
2. Username, credential to access internet services, probably a generic username (at least that is how it done here), and
3. Password, to authenticate above credential.

If those requirement fulfilled, then all you need to do is to right click Network Manager icon and choose menu Edit Connection. What you need is in Mobile connection tab. The rest, I think is pretty simple to use.

Uh, Network Manager icon right now is probably the one with two cascading computer icon. You can find them normally sitting at top right corner, near your clock.
