Thanks for the suggestion. I checked it -
svg.enabled    default    boolean    true

So, the browser does, in fact, have support for it... I wonder if it's NB
6.7 and jMaki widgets that has the problem?
Unless there's something else in the Linux environment that could stop it, I
don't think it's a Linux/Ubuntu problem at all.
