Error Installing Ubuntu : Segmentation Fault

I followed your steps and now I am getting a different error message.
The error message is:

> * Starting kernal event manager... [ok]
> * loading hardware drivers ...
> udevd-event[2678]: '/sbin/modprobe -b pcmcia'  abnormal exit
> Segmentation fault
