I could not get Garage Operator to run under Wine.
I need a good replacement for GO which will run on Ubuntu Linux.

This software is pretty good at running an automotive repair shop.
However, even in XP it randomly crashed. For the price, it works.
I have searched google for months to find a replacement software to run
an auto repair shop. None will do the job. I tried all the so-called
financial software as well as Autohouse 3 or Ah3 for auto repair invoicing.

After install QT and Postgresql, and getting it compiled from source
(everything went well) I was very disappointed in this application.
It's in beta development and basically not even usable. In fact, it
hasn't changed much over the years and the developer seems to use SUSE
or RedHat an RPM based distro and I don't know if it's Ubuntu or his
code, but even though it compiled without errors, a lot of this program
just simply doesn't work. Can't use it because it's not finished.
Any other suggestions?
