I did not upgrade but did a duel boot. And upgraded to 9.04 alpha. It
has been some work but after getting the Nvidia to work it has been a
really nice system. The latest upgrade made it much faster even that
my current 8.04 install with KDE3.
I don't like the K-start menu because it is too short. God knows why
it only goes half way up the screen? Changing to the original format
does not help! Sound is not yet perfect but that is most likely an
alpha problem.
So all in all I think kde 4 is looking bright for the future but I
would not use it as my only system YET. Maybe 8.10 is better? I think
KDE4.2 might be the thing to wait for.
