Hi Wade,
imho this does not make sense. I have had serious problems with those
converters, even when using "the other OS".
Looking at your printer manual, I would recommend that you do it
professionally.
Either you buy a PCI card that offers you a genuine LPT Parallel port.
And even so much better:
It is very likely that your printer can be equipped with a jetdirect
card. So have another look at your manual for your specific model.
Then you get a second hand hp jetdirect card cheaply ex. from ebay,
insert this into your printer and from then on, your problems will be
gone forever.
