Can't move windows in KDE

This isn't really an Ubuntu problem but I was hoping that someone could 
help any way. 

I keep loosing the ability to move windows around.  I can open and close 
things without problems but click and drag to move windows doesn't 
work.  I can always fix this by logging out and restarting X.  I was 
hoping that someone could tell me what process to restart to fix things 
so that I don't have to log out every time. 
KDE version = 3.3.1
X.org version = 6.8.2
OS version = *cringe* CentOS 4.6 */cringe*

I realize that this is an ubuntu list but I am not on a Red Hat/CentOS 
list and was hoping someone might be able to help anyway.
