OOo 3.0 from PPA: cannot start Writer

I got it working.

Instead of being a big tough guy and installing via apt-get, I opened
Adept and used it to remove the currently installed OOo. I then used
Adept to install the OOo packages that I thought relevant. Boom, trah,
it works as it should!
