The launcher I was modifying was one which Gnome created - it doesn't
have the run in terminal checkbox. So that's not the problem - the
problem is the launcher loaded gnome terminal...then ran the script
which called rxvt with the -e parameter . It was supposed to call mc
(midnight commander) When I created my own launcher by right clicking on
the desktop, it ran the script fine. I was curious why Gnome was running
the Gnome terminal despite the fact rxvt was set as my preferred terminal.
