What version of ubuntu is installed.

Hi list.

I have Ubuntu 8.04 installed with  all updates.
How can I see the version installed, from cli.
I only can verify kernel version with uname.

Don't know if I need to install Ubuntu 8.04.2 or if the updates did the trick.
