libvirt-bin: can not connect to openvz hypervisor

I can create an openvz VM using vzctl. 
I can create and manage a KVM/Qemu VM using virsh and virt-install.
But I cannot create, manage openvz VM using eather virsh or
virt-install. I get the error:

# virsh connect openvz:///system
Connecting to uri: qemu:///system
libvir: error : could not connect to openvz:///system
error: Failed to connect to the hypervisor

Since I have no clue how to deal directly with libvirt and because 2
tools using libvirt get the same connection error, I suppose the problem
comes from libvirt. (I also googled the error but didn't find anything)
