If you can read and write files to the partition in Ubuntu, that means
it has a working file system. And you formatted as vfat, as you
mentioned earlier. So this should be visible to XP.

Well, let us know when you get it to work in Windows and if there was
something interesting going on as the problem.


Please reply to this list only. I read this list on its corresponding
newsgroup on gmane.org. Replies sent to my email address are just
filtered to a folder in my mailbox and get periodically deleted without
ever having been read.
