Yaird throws error about bad sr0 device link

I am building latest code from linus' git tree. Everything builds fine and 
installs. But when I try to make initrd image with this command:

# yaird --output=/boot/initrd.img-2.6.29-rc1 2..29-rc1

it exits with this error:
yaird error: bad device link in /sys/block/sr0 (fatal)

Please help.
