If you use many computers and have a lot of long passwords or keys you can
put them on a USB memory stick and use that. It keeps it with you and it
makes it handy. You can use whatever method you like to keep the stick
secure. Maybe an encrypted file system with a nice password. Also cracking
this password will not be easy because as soon as you get into the system
you are wanting to get into you take the stick out of the port.
