BTW, for movie DVDs that you would rather not have destroyed due to
scratches, it is relatively simple to make a copy and keep the original
away in a cabinet. I have heard that is goes a long way in preserving
commercial DVDs (could cost 40~60 bucks I believe), especially in a
house with kids :)

Please reply to this list only. I read this list on its corresponding
newsgroup on gmane.org. Replies sent to my email address are just
filtered to a folder in my mailbox and get periodically deleted without
