This is correct - Hannah is apparently a zOS ops analyst/systems
programmer. The machines Hannah and I use at work are the kinds of
machines you find your bank using, rather than high performance/speed
machines. The emphasis is on high uptime/availability rather than high
processing power.

Mind you, she refers to them as MVS/ESA which hasn't been sold by IBM
for several years now - it's been called zOS for quite sometime. An
old timer perhaps... much like myself! :)
