No thumbnail preview of fonts in Nautilus!!

I have found no alternative and AFAIK no one at Gnome finds this
important - so no one is working on it.  Haven't checked in a few
months though.

Back then I was actually hacking on fontypython to make a "lite"
version - just to preview a font.  I got about hlafway there before
other things came up.  It would be great if someone stepped up and
wrote a quick font previewer (with customizable preview text).  Then
again, no one seems to complain on the list (very often anyway) so
maybe it's not important to most people...
