Hello there,

i am tring to install ubuntu-8.10-desktop-amd64 on my asus motherboard with AMD Phenom™ X4 9850 processor. when i try to insall it gives some error and start to ring bells with blank screen.nothing happents and i will restart to avoid further harm.

Can you exprets suggest any posible cause.
