Very old kernel, and claims to be fixed.

Not very much information on that one, same very old kernel, and apparently
related to USB - which is not the case here.

This looks much better - newer kernel; bug occurring under many different
conditions, but all related to high CPU load (and since a vm runs on a
fraction of your machine's total resources the cpu load for the vm tends to
be higher than if run natively); but it's _still_ an older kernel than
mine, and upgrading to a 2.6.24 kernel is supposed to be the fix (I'm using
2.6.24-23).  Unfortunately, one of the kernel developers seems to have
hijacked the original bug report and is now insisting it's acpi related -
which the original never seemed to be.
