Your post was fine. I can recall at least two recent threads where you
mentioned that stuff was OT and at that I stopped replying to the
threads in question. I happen to disagree that this particular thread
is OT, but when you point out that I or others are perpetuating a true
OT thread, I immediately cease.

In fact, I _appreciate_ that you work to keep the list on topic, among
your other contributions to this list and others (such as endlessly
triaging people's problems, which is greatly appreciated as well).
Your input is very important and I respect your decisions, even in
matter for which you do not have official responsibility, because you
have earned my respect.
