On the Amiga, DOpus simply had any feature you can think of. Not because 
it came with all those features by default, but because users could easily 
add and modify them. That approach would probably work very well under 
Linux as well, because you could use DOpus as a graphical front-end for 
all your favorite CLI-programs.
