You really have to be careful what you wish for.. I've bought several
printers with little Penguins on the box.. generally it means that the
company has released a proprietary binary only driver. (Lexmark,
Samsung, and Brother, to name the guilty) While these have all worked,
installation is not for the faint of heart if you aren't using the
supported distro (usually Redhat.) I would rather an entirely new logo
Certifying that a printer adheres to open standards. Printers that need
proprietary blobs to work are a relatively new, and I find, wholly
detestable phenomenon.
