Pidgin file transfer for gtalk

file transfer is not working from pidgin.. i'm using *Pidgin 2.5.5.* adsand
transfer proxy is set to proxy.jabber.org.

output error msg is: Unable to send file to user at domain, user does not
support file transfers.

receiver is using official version of google talk and file transfers are
working with him whn i use google talk from windows...
