Agreed.  /usr/local/bin would be more appropriate for Ray's scripts, if
they are to go into a "system" directory rather than a user directory
such as $HOME/bin (assuming that $HOME/bin is in $PATH).

*MY* point was that his script, as coded, depends on being invoked with
an absolute path name so that it can locate the support files.
