Need to recover from an ID-10-T error.

Brian,
I am booting from Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS, kernel 2.6.24-24-generic, same thing happens when I try recovery mode.
The error displayed is:
Error 15: File not found
Press any key to continue...

What *EXACTLY* does the error message say?
