Yep. I tested on a 9.10 test machine & sure enough there doesn't seem to
be a way to easily return it back to it's original. What is happening is
this:

You might want to add to that bug. Note the last comment. I compared the
/var/lib/gdm/.gconf.defaults/%gconf-tree.xml of the test machine against
a standard machine & immediately notice that the accessibility test
machine has these missing from it's %gconf-tree.xml:

Sure enough, I copied the file from the standard machine & replaced the
one on the test machine & now the login is back to normal.
