System:
AMD Athlon XP2400+
Memory:
1002.5MiB

I followed the instructions on your website and downloaded ubuntu, copied the iso to disk and installed the os. I wiped windows xp from the hdd allowed ubuntu to format and partition the hdd as it saw fit. it is now on it's own 200 GB hdd. i have 2 other hdds with data on them.

once installed it asked to shut down to complete the install but when it tried to boot up again i was met with:

Verifying DMI Pool Data......
Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM:
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

with the disk in and enter pressed i am taken to an options screen where i choose the trial version so i can at least use the computer.

why won't it boot from the hdd? i have tried installing it twice. we can't save settings, plug-ins etc.

Help would be much appreciated,

Regards,

Dan Park
