Sorry that I didn't include details. My monitor is a Samsung 713N and I have an
AGP Graphics adapter. I'll have to pull it out to see what the model is. I've
had it for about 4 years and don't remember the model.
I renamed the xorg.conf file and rebooted. Same result - 800x600 is the
highest resolution.
