I've only ever installed a very small handful of gems that have
executables associated with them... hmmm, rails comes to mind, as does
grb ("git-remote-branch"). Not all gems install executables, but the
ones that I've installed that _do_ install executables have put them
in /usr/bin (or at least put links in there -- I've never looked that
carefully before, and I'm not sitting at my Linux box right now).
What gems have you had problems with? Perhaps you should contact the
maintainer of that gem.
