dvd decrypter 3.4.5.0 can do this. you'll have to install it via wine.
i know, not a very good feeling arises having to use wine, but i have
since changed my mind that it is a great feature of *nix that is able to
run windows executables. there are more detailed instructions out there
for getting it configured to properly recognized your drive, but i
believe the only thing you need to do is play with the 'interface'
setting on the i/o tab in the settings.
on the general tab, set 'rce protection region' to the region of your
dvd players, i believe.
now you can go into the settings, iso read mode tab, and turn on 'remove
ifo rce protection' and 'remove ifo rc protecion' and any other options
you may want, personally i remove all the so-called "protections". now
just select your destination and click the green triangle and you will
get an ISO of your DVD without the protections.... ooo, be careful!
