The log files are huge.
sys.log is 1.7 GB / kern.log is 1.3 GB / messages are 2 GB
I leave the PC on 24 hours I fall asleep ok and when I wake it is unused for
lack of space. / var / log / with 6.9 GB and only after deleting and
restarting in order to use the PC.
sudo rm-f / var / log / mail.err
sudo rm-f / var / log / mail.info
sudo rm-f / var / log / mail.warn
sudo rm-f / var / log / mail.log
sudo rm-f / var / log / kern.log
sudo rm-f / var / log / syslog
sudo rm-f / var / log / messages
I do not receive messages on the cpu but normal messages but that is
repeated every second and increase the use of just the cpu and hd space.
CRON[2730]: pam_unix(cron:session): session opened for user brain by
(uid=0) ou read error . It's a crazy thing.
My / etc / syslog.conf this blank.
How do I disable the logs.
How to fix this bug.
What is better to wait for the bug fix or return to the version I used
before: hardy heron?
