lchata at karmic-desktop:/etc/gdm$ uname -a
Linux karmic-desktop 2.6.31-16-generic #52-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 3 22:07:16
UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
lchata at karmic-desktop:/etc/gdm$
I think I may have also solved the notorious low-graphics resolution issue
in Karmic 64 bit. It appears to be a conflict between kdm and gdm,
timing and failsafeXServer. Purging the #$@/%$#@ gdm may have solved it
but only one reboot so far. Will let you know if it succeeds long term.
