32 or 64 bit?

A P4 is 32 bit right?
I'm only saying on *my* Core 2 Duo ( T5250 ) , though I haven't tested,
I shouldn't be able to virtualize anything using a 64 bits host OS.
I can, and do, virtualize on a 32 bit host OS.
And that was a factor which stopped me from going 64 bits.
