32 or 64 bit?

Since your RAM is 4GB, and you are going to use VirtualBox, then simple, 
just use 64 bit Host OS.

If you have another problem like 32bit Flash or JRE does not work well 
in 64 bit, take it as consequences and just move on. Though I can say 
the situation is now getting better, now I can do my Internet banking 
using my 64 bit Ubuntu. Used to run the Windows XP Guest OS just for that :D
