Noone has any idea?

I try to be a little bit more precise.
Inside the 'desktop cube' configuration, I set 4 image files, however, I
always see the ubuntu default background image on every cube face.

Even cube transparency do not works, and inside the log I see

/usr/bin/compiz.real (cube) - Warn: Failed to load slide:
/usr/share/gdm/themes/Human/

I've already disabled the 'nautilus show desktop' option.

Let me know if you need some more info to help me.

Thanks,
Massimiliano
